Organized chaos

Who me? Organized? “Red” might tell you otherwise, but I do find it hard to keep track of our weekly comings and goings. You know: grocery shopping, tidying up, paying bills, remembering appointments and so on. Fortunately, in our house we both pitch in. No one person does everything. As far as organizing and helping things run more smoothly, we have several novel ideas. I have an old window now covered in chalk paint where I can keep written lists and reminders and a pair of old shutters where I can hang and organize photos and papers. I happened upon a table-top library card catalog to store ‘smalls’ in and “Red” hung peg board in my studio to organize my yarn on hooks. I’d love to find an old typeset storage cabinet or map cabinet to help us in organizing paperwork and supplies instead of tucking them in shoeboxes or taking up real-estate on my kitchen table – maybe one day.
